Family mediation is a commonly used method for resolving disputes and working towards agreements within families navigating separation or divorce. As an Accredited Family Mediator, I will serve as a neutral third party to assist you in managing tough conversations in a safe and compassionate environment. Operating from a child-centred and solution-focused approach, the aim is to achieve a fair and enduring parenting plan while improving communication and facilitating a smoother transition for everyone involved.

Jo brings an extensive knowledge and a high level of compassion to the family mediation field. With two decades of experience working with families at different stages of their lives as a Registered Social Worker, she approaches mediation with understanding, consideration, and creative thinking. Jo can meet people where they are, and with a solution-based practice, she can help guide them to the next chapter in their lives. She is passionate about creating and maintaining healthy and thriving co-parenting dynamics to support healthy and thriving kids.
She practices with a deep commitment to anti-oppression and trauma-informed care.
